Unofficial Fan Objet d'art

Sometimes fans allow their creative ideas to flow into projects that are along the lines of a poem, story, or drawing, or sometimes they take a song and combine it with a visual representation which they feel goes well with the music.

Previously we showed you a terrific video montage of artwork by Ace Gallagher that Ace put to the music of Eric Woolfson's "Wings of Eagles." We've now added Ace's more recent work which uses a clip from the film starring Vincent Price along with Eric Woolfson's music "The Pit and the Pendulum" from the CD "More Tales of Mystery and Imagination,"

Other goodies we've found include an ice skating competition with songs from Notre Dame de Paris, and footage from the TV show Xena Warrior Princess using the song Steve co-wrote for Meat Loaf "Because of You", as well as several videos using footage from the Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Drawing - Steve Balsamo by Swallow

Shown below is our very first piece of fan art for the UFO page! It was done by Swallow, a friend of ours in Wales who is a multi-talented young lady that loves music, acting/theatre and art. She and I even dabbled for a while with writing a musical online between us, but my love of gabbing and both our schedules made it difficult to progress. We will get there S - one day, I am sure!

Done as an A4 sized pencil sketch, Swallow has really done a great job (we particularly love the eyes!). She's been a fan of Steve's for a long time now, and we were delighted that she sent this into us!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And here's one I made myself - I took one of my photos of Steve and turned it into a comic book style drawing.
